Interruptions

So, the Rockies are in the World Series. I'm not a TV sports fan, so that isn't all in capital letters. I didn't understand why when I walked into the computer lab and the chem computer lab, there were NO computers available. Since when? I didn't realize until later that people were freaking out, trying to get tickets. Some friends had 15 computers going at once, in an attempt to get a ticket. A friend's dad got tickets that should have been $1500 a piece for $500 a piece. Wow, that's a lot of money. Classes are interrupted for the tickets.

Now what I find funny is what doesn't interrupt classes. A bomb threat. Yes, a bomb threat. The admin buildings were closed up yesterday morning, but of course the chemistry and biology buildings were not. Man, these scientitsts are hard core people... :)

That Was Quick

I'm moving in tonight. :) I found a place in Pueblo with a single Christian lady. She is renting me a room out for $200 a month which will not only save me driving time, but lots of gas money. Woo hoo! I look forward to seeing my friends and family more and not leaving Canon at 6:50 every morning! I will, however, miss living with my fabulous roomies. They're the best and although it is exciting to be moving forward in life, sometimes it is hard to leave certain things behind.

Success!

The run was a success. It was a small gathering, but it is what God wanted to provide. We raised $520.00 which is fantastic. Please pray that this money will be used in the most strategic way possible. I am praying about starting up an e-mail list that would make it possible to give people updates on what is going on in Africa and-hopefully-what other fundraisers are going on to help out with these things. Nothing really...

I know, I know I'm a slacker. I haven't written. That's okay. I only have like 2.5 people who read my blog. Yeah, I know, there is no such thing as half a person, but I don't care. It sounds like a more legitimate statistic that way. My excuse. I had a test on Monday, one one Wednesday, and one coming up in two hours that I should be studying for right now. :) He he...


The big news is I only have one test to study for this weekend. What a concept. Man, my life is exciting.


Actually, there is some news. I am looking for a place to stay in Pueblo that would be closer to school. I haven't really had any luck yet. Any prayers would be appreciated!
