Discovery

Last night I was inside on the computer (what a big surprise) when my Mom came in and said there was a baby bunny on the lawn. I was excited to see a tiny animal. But I didn't expect it to be this small! We have a tree in our front yard where a bunch live, but this one was very far away from the tree. And it was very young. It only opened its eyes when we took the picture. We didn't think it would find its way back to the tree, so we decided to pick it up. We used a cloth, because we didn't want the mom rabbit to smell any "human" on its baby. We put it over by the tree and left to see if it would be discovered. About five minutes later we went back and the Mom had found it. Phew! It would have been sad if it was abandoned.

I think God created baby animals just to make people happy. I mean, who couldn't look at a kitten or a puppy and smile. Or even really ugly animals-like warthogs-have adorable babies.
