The Corpse Bride

Okay, I know this sounds a little weird, but it looks like a pretty cool movie! Another Tim Burton film which should be interesting. I didn't like "Big Fish", but I did like "Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Sleepy Hollow". Speaking of "Nightmare Before Christmas", this new one is the same type of animation-stop motion. Honestly, I have no idea what that is, but I am of the opinion that it is a fancy name for computer animation or claymation. :<) If you want to see what it is about go to this web page. But be careful; it give a lot of info and may spoil the "suspense factor".

What's really interesting about this movie is that it is based on actual events. In 19th century Russia, anti-semitism was rampant. Many times anti-semites would stop a wedding train of Jews and kill the bride. *Yeesh!* They did this because the bride would be the one to bear "future generations". The bride would be buried in her wedding gown. Man, why isn't this the type of stuff we learn in history class?....

Oh, wow! It is only 154 days, 10 hours, 37 minutes, and 44 seconds until the movie comes out. Wait! 40 seconds...Wait! .....
